Each region of the world has its own regulatory agency and testing procedures (protocols) that govern what claims are allowed to be made for each product. The US agency for surface cleaners is the EPA and they do not currently have a final testing protocol for residual antimicrobial products against broad spectrum bacteria, viruses, and SARS-CoV2.
